Ambulatory Surgery Center

The Winchester region was in need of additional, high-quality surgical care to meet demand in the local communities, and Valley Health responded by partnering with local physicians to design and construct a new 22,000-square-foot ambulatory surgery center. Designed to delivery convenient orthopedics, ear, nose, and throat, podiatry, and neurosurgery care, the center consists of five state-of-the-art surgical suites designed for future and flexible expansion. The one-way sterile processing department accommodates 6,000 cases per year, while future operating rooms (currently serving as procedure rooms) are designed to be placed in immediate operation upon COPN approval.
